ChatGPT just blew my mind, and I have to share this with you!
I’ve discovered a way to use ChatGPT to generate a traditional three-column video editing script! It’s quick, organized, and could be game-changing for content creators.
Here’s what I asked ChatGPT: “Summarize the following into a concise and emotionally resonant script for a 90-second public service announcement. Use a three-column script format: Column 1 for row numbers, Column 2 for video visuals (including graphics), and Column 3 for narration, sound bites, and natural sounds.”
I then pasted in content from a year-end review by a little-known Atlanta-based nonprofit, redefinED Atlanta, and ChatGPT transformed it into a polished script. The result? A beautifully formatted script that looks just like the ones we’ve spent hours drafting by hand. I’ll share a screenshot of the output so you can see for yourself!
This discovery wouldn’t have been possible without Episode 9 of Cary Weston’s podcast, The ChatGPT Experiment – https://lnkd.in/eSVY_E6X. It got me thinking about how to refine and use prompts for professional-grade results.
Now it’s your turn! Have you experimented with ChatGPT, Adobe Firefly, or other AI tools for video content creation? What’s been your most exciting discovery so far? Let’s share and learn together!
