This week, I created my first AI-generated video clip that a client approved. It’s not the best animation in the world, but it’s a big step forward in using AI to generate custom visuals instead of relying on stock footage.
I started by generating a still image with ChatGPT, DALL-E, and Adobe Firefly, then animated it using Kaiber.ai and Luma. After that, I refined the clip with traditional post-production techniques like motion tracking.
What excites me most is the collaboration with AI—it speeds up research, structures scripts, suggests visuals, and even helps generate metaphorical imagery that would have been difficult or expensive to source before. But with so many tools out there, where do we invest our time? What’s worth mastering?
That’s why I started the AI Skills Exchange for Video Content Creators. If you’re a video pro exploring AI, let’s figure it out together. Join the conversation, share insights, and help shape the future of AI in video production.
